Birmingham County Football Association (BCFA) are delighted to announce a new partnership with Floodlighting and Electrical Services, as their first official and exclusive Floodlighting partner.
Floodlighting and Electrical Services is an established business with over 40 years’ experience of installing high quality sports floodlighting solutions across the UK. Whilst they are the leading floodlight business in Wales, Floodlighting and Electrical have begun their ambitious growth plans for England and the UK. BCFA’s partnership will allow Floodlighting and Electrical to support football at all levels of the game, from Premier League through to grass roots and everything in between, including schools and community facilities.
Kevin Shoemake, CEO at BCFA, said, “We are delighted to announce the new partnership with Floodlighting and Electrical Services. They have a real synergy with our business values and our commitment to improving sports lighting and the costs across the region and in line with our environmental commitments and targets. I am confident they will become a valuable partner that offer various cost-effective benefits to all of our members which includes the whole range of pitch and clubhouse solutions and at a time when utility costs are paramount.”
Gareth Roberts, Managing Director, Floodlighting and Electrical Services Limited, said, “I am very pleased to be working with BCFA as their official Floodlighting partner. Floodlighting and Electrical has built its business on strong core values and stakeholder relationships and we will continue that focus with all BCFA customers at every level of the game. We will not only deliver the right solution for each lighting project but we will ensure the environment is considered on every occasion.”
One of Floodlighting and Electrical's first jobs is to work with BCFA in the development and improvement of their two pitches at their Ray Hall Lane headquarters. It’s the ambition of BCFA to have the best facilities possible, which in turn will benefit Clubs that use the ground in the future.
In addition, Floodlighting and Electrical have agreed to donate £250 to the existing BCFA Facility Fund on completion of any lighting project by any affiliated ‘member’ of the Association. The BCFA Facility Fund is already used to enhance or develop Club facility projects or offer grants towards equipment or pitch/clubhouse improvements linked to growing participation and football opportunities within communities.
