At Floodlighting and Electrical, we are always delighted to support grass roots sport to “Step into the Light”. One of our latest projects, for Pontypool United RFC, meant we had to come together, as one, to work through a national lockdown.
The Project Closely following government guidelines, team Floodlighting and Electrical met with Pontypool United RFC, who recently were favoured with a generous grant from Sport Wales and their Be Active Wales Fund, to upgrade the quality of their current lighting experiences.
LED is a long-term lighting solution with high brightness and low radiated heat, so we advised, and later facilitated, the upgrade from their old metal halide lighting to LED lighting for the club. This lamp modernisation will elevate the match day experience for both the players and the spectators when sport is able to commence. We are big advocates for creating stand-out audience and player experiences that are reinforced at every point throughout the pitch.
We have previously also monitored, managed, installed and recently refurbished their training lights, thereby upgrading their lighting solutions to ensure optimal lighting for the club’s training sessions. This means the club have been able to train in a perfectly lit environment that will allow the team to continue to develop their skills, with no timing or lighting constraints.
Further Supported Although experts in lighting solutions, we also understand the value of strong partnerships. Floodlighting and Electrical have given further support to the Club by investing in perimeter board branding to endorse the official partnership.
Our commitment: In a period of sporting uncertainty, we have been delighted to support Pontypool United RFC to create small and large-scale enhancements that will dramatically improve the match day experience.
